Short Answer: Web Hosting Cost in Pakistan in 2026
For most small websites, web hosting in Pakistan costs PKR 300 to PKR 800 a month. A WordPress site costs PKR 400 to PKR 900 a month, a busy store on cloud hosting PKR 950 to PKR 3,000, and your own VPS starts at PKR 2,600 a month. Paying yearly usually lowers the monthly price.
The table below shows the starting price of each type of hosting at Alif Host on 28 October 2026. The full, current list is always on the pricing page.
| Hosting type | Starting price (PKR/month) | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Shared hosting | 300 | Personal sites, blogs, small business websites |
| WordPress hosting | 400 | WordPress sites and small WooCommerce stores |
| Node.js hosting | 499 | Node.js apps with cPanel |
| Cloud hosting | 950 | Growing stores and sites that outgrew shared hosting |
| Reseller hosting | 1,300 | Agencies and freelancers hosting client sites |
| VPS hosting | 2,600 | Developers and apps that need root access |
| Windows RDP | 3,200 | Forex trading, QuickBooks or Tally, remote work |
Shared Hosting Prices: Where Most Websites Start
Shared hosting is the cheapest option because many websites share one server. It is enough for most new websites. At Alif Host there are three shared plans:
| Plan | Monthly price (PKR) | Websites | NVMe storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 300 | 2 | 2 GB |
| Business | 450 (405/mo yearly) | 12 | 15 GB |
| Premium | 800 (640/mo yearly) | 50 | 55 GB |
- All shared plans include cPanel, free SSL and email accounts.
- Business and Premium include a free .com domain on yearly billing.

WordPress, Cloud and VPS Hosting Prices
When a website gets more visitors or needs more control, the price goes up because you get more guaranteed resources:
- WordPress hosting: PKR 400 (WP Starter, 3 sites), PKR 600 (WP Business, 15 sites) and PKR 900 (WP Pro, 40 sites) a month.
- Cloud hosting: PKR 950, PKR 1,900 and PKR 3,000 a month, with more CPU and RAM than shared plans and still managed in cPanel.
- VPS hosting: from PKR 2,600 a month, with dedicated CPU cores, guaranteed RAM and full root access over SSH.
- Windows RDP: from PKR 3,200 a month with 2 vCPUs and 4 GB RAM.
What Changes the Price of Web Hosting?
Two plans can look similar but cost different amounts. These are the things that really change the price:
- Resources: more CPU, RAM and storage cost more. Storage type matters too: NVMe is faster than older SSD or HDD storage.
- Number of websites: entry plans allow 1 to 3 sites; bigger plans allow dozens.
- Billing period: yearly billing is cheaper per month than monthly billing on most plans.
- Managed vs self-managed: shared, WordPress and cloud plans are managed for you; on a VPS you manage the server yourself with root access.
- Currency: plans billed in USD cost more than they look once bank conversion, foreign card fees and possible Section 236Y advance tax are added.
Hidden Costs to Check Before You Buy
The monthly price is not the full cost. Before paying any host, check these:
- Renewal price: some hosts show a low first-term price and renew at a much higher one. Ask for the renewal price in writing.
- Domain: is a domain included, and what does it cost to renew? A .com at Alif Host is PKR 3,100 for the first year.
- SSL certificate: it should be free. Alif Host includes free AutoSSL on every hosting plan.
- Backups and restores: check how often backups run and whether restoring one costs extra.
- Refunds: at Alif Host, eligible shared, WordPress, cloud and reseller plans have a 15-day refund window; VPS, RDP and Starter plans are non-refundable.
How to Choose the Right Plan Without Overpaying
Start small and upgrade when you need to. A new business website or blog almost never needs a VPS on day one. A simple rule:
- One small website: shared Starter or Business.
- WordPress site or small store: WordPress hosting.
- Store or site that slows down on shared hosting: cloud hosting.
- Custom software, Docker or full control: VPS.
- Several client websites: reseller hosting.
